Hi! I’m Elizabeth Vergara - licensed general contractor, architectural designer, and turnkey project management expert
Growing up, I watched my father run his own construction company and discovered a love for construction at a young age.
Over the past 13+ years, I've been helping NYC homeowners design and renovate their upscale homes as a Design-Build Specialist.
Fast forward a couple of decades, after getting my MFA in Interior Design, I worked at prestigious design-build firms, managing renovations for high-end clients with an eye for perfection.
It soon became clear to me that my clients needed someone on-site to guide them through the renovation process from start to finish. That's where my passion for merging the design and construction phases into one cohesive process was born.
Unlike other design-build firms that only handle one aspect of the process, my team and I handle both the design and construction phases, saving you both time and money.

More often they are well versed in certain portions of the project and clueless on other parts of the process. This guide gives you insider tips to handle a specific type of renovation. And, you get all the resources we use for our done-for-you clients: spreadsheets for planning, templates, and examples of permits, insurance, and licenses, product lists, as well as access to our network of trusted contractors and trades. Is this guide for private resident owners or those who live in a co-op?There are a few exceptions for bathroom renovations in private residences and co-ops (we clarify that in the guide). This means you’ll find this helpful whether you live in a co-op or a private residence.

When is the best time to schedule my call with Elizabeth?You can schedule a call with Elizabeth whenever you’re ready. However, we want to make sure you get the most out of your 1:1 call. We advise you to schedule it after you’ve surveyed your bathroom, prepared a list of questions, after you’ve gone through the guide up to module 4, and prepared a style board (at least) or when you’re done going through the guide.

What if my contractors and trades think I don’t know what I’m doing?When you purchase the guide, you’ll get a comprehensive list of questions and checklists (categorized by worker scope for bathroom renovations) that you can rely on to brief your workers. This means you’ll never have to wing it when you’re speaking to them.

How soon can I start planning my remodel after going through the guide?You’ll plan as you learn. We know you don’t have the time to sit through a complicated and boring course. That’s why each module is packed with easy-to-implement tips and relevant, current information. Overall, it’ll take you a couple of days to go through the guide (think 2-3 hours each day to learn and implement), and then you’re off to the races.
