We are looking for a talented Construction Project Manager who is not only skilled at what they do but has a passion for it. Your background in Mechanical/ Engineering or Construction Management will provide the foundation to drive innovative solutions and deliver exceptional results while managing the day-to-day operations of the project.

Who You Will Be Working With:

  • Reports directly to Elizabeth Vergara, Owner/CEO & Founder

  • Works with Social Media Team, Architectural Team, and Construction Team

What We Need From You:

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion

  • Execute construction of projects to meet or reduce anticipated job costs. Seek opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality of construction, under remittance, or delayed timelines

  • Assist with completion of final construction/permit plan sets

  • Lead design and construction teams, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Visit the job site regularly to evaluate the sold design for issues and to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations

  • Share your knowledge, provide training, and inspire your team to achieve their goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.

  • Manage the overall project schedule, including project planning, scheduling, and coordinating with stakeholders.

  • Ensure safety requirements are maintained on all job sites in accordance with OSHA

  • Conduct construction site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications

  • Coordinate and manage the installation of construction materials, equipment, and fixtures

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure schematics are accurately translated into construction plans

  • Conduct regular project meetings with the project team to discuss progress and address any issues

  • Manage and direct a team of construction professionals, including project engineers and site supervisors

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards

  • Manage and coordinate all construction-related activities, including procurement of materials and equipment

  • Work with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers to determine scope of work requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, designers, and contractors.

  • Read and review blueprints to gain understanding of project material and installation requirements and perform field measurements when necessary

Education and/or Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in construction / construction project management with the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings

  • Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or business management or accumulative years experience in the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of all phases of the building construction process, including pre-construction through closeout

  • Ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with co-workers and externally with clients, subcontractors, and other industry partners.

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices

  • Experience with construction estimating and project scheduling

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to strategize and implement solutions quickly.

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
